What's New

What’s new?  We are!

Check this page often for  the latest news about the all new Inland Northwest Chapter of GRHS! We hope that you all will be as excited about the new chapter as we are!

Planned programs for this year include an introduction and guided tour of the largest German Russian database online, the Odessa Digital Library.  Included will be search tips and hints, a look at the individual databases, as well as help with navigating the huge amounts of data amassed in this fantastic database.

Also planned is a German-Russian food night, where members can bring and share their favorite German foods and enjoy an evening of good food, good company, and some traditional German music.

And how does a midsummer picnic and a Christmas party sound? Both are in the planning and we hope to see you all there for a fun filled time!

For the serious (or even not so serious!) researchers, several research specific meetings have been discussed. We would like to hear the members thoughts on making these research meetings a regular thing. What do you think? Come tell us at the next meeting what YOU would like to have happen at our YOUR chapter meetings!
